Take a walk. Wander down city streets. Stroll through a park. Walk down a beach. Meander around your own neighborhood. Go alone, with your dog, or with a friend. Bring an I-pod* or listen to the sounds around you. Just get outside and start walking. Not only is walking great exercise, I find it therapeutic. I love being outside, getting fresh air, and getting somewhere on my own two feet. *Remember, if you are walking alone with an I-pod, be sure to be aware of your surroundings, especially while crossing streets or in isolated areas.
